Delete account and data

This page explains how to have your Taxionspot account and associated personal data deleted. It applies to both the Taxionspot passenger app (taxionspot.ride.passenger) and the Taxionspot driver app (taxionspot.ride.driver). You do not need to be signed in to make this request.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to info@taxionspot.nl with the subject “Delete account”.
- Include the phone number and/or email address you used to create the account, so we can identify you.
- Are you a driver? You can also submit the request through your contact person at Taxionspot.
- We confirm your request and delete your account within 30 days.
What data we delete
- Your account and login credentials;
- Your name and contact details (phone number, email address);
- Saved addresses and ride preferences;
- The ride history linked to your account.
What data we keep, and why
We retain financial and invoicing data of completed rides for seven years. We are legally required to do so under Dutch tax retention law (Article 52 of the General State Taxes Act). This data is separated from your profile and kept solely for our statutory records, after which it is permanently deleted.
